Thursday, July 28, 1927 Still hot weather. Had lunch at Quinnipiac Club. Home to dinner tonight. Meeting of Board of Governors of Spring Glen Club. Passed on matters of interest. Sally called us up tonight from Camp Arden, Brattleboro, Vermont to tell us that they would be away from camp over this weekend and for us not to come up as we had planned. Some talk of building a new hotel in New Haven. Site suggested is on the corner of Congress Ave. and Meadow Street. It is to be twelve stories high.
