Friday, June 3, 1927 To the Springfield store today. Went up and back on the train. Still cold and damp. Sarah met me at the train and we came out home to dinner. T.P.H., Sarah, and I went in to the Shubert Theatre to see Helen Hayes play, "What Every Woman Knows". It was a splendid production, well put on. Captain Charles A. Lindbergh flew back from England to Paris, preparatory to coming home tomorrow.
