Again the day dawned beautiful and clear, grew warm and lovely, then a heavy thunder shower in the afternoon and afterwards, cold again. Went in to church and school at Calvary Baptist Church. Professor William Lyon Phelps preached for Rev. Harold B. Camp, who is in Chicago attending the Northern Baptist Convention. Prof. Phelps is a deacon in Calvary Church. Went up to dinner to Miss Pratt's Prattonia. Took Grant Noble with us. He is visiting his brothers here at Yale, Larry Noble and Nat Noble. Sally and he started out for a walk this afternoon and got caught in the shower and were soaked. We loaned Grant some of my clothes to go home in.
