Thursday, June 16, 1927 John Duncan called for me and took to the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club luncheon where I spoke to them on Rotar Fundamentals. They have a fine club started. Will and Bessie Jackson at the house tonight to dinner and spent the evening with us. We took a walk around Spring Glen till dark, then visited around a wood fire as it is quite cold tonight. Thermometer this morning was 50°. We enjoyed the Jacksons very much. They are so fine.
