A beautiful day and we were so glad as this was the day of our Calvary Church School Picnic. We went down to Lighthouse Point and took a big crowd down. We had to big trolly cars full in the morning and then a lot of people came down later in time for dinner. The committee thinks they fed about 350 people. We had a very successful day. No one hurt or left behind. It was the first time I had been down to the Lighthouse since the city purchased it for a city park. They have cleaned it up and improved it wonderfully. Had dinner at home and then T.P.H., Sarah, and I went over on Kill Deer Road to see the model house that is open for exhibition.
