Yale Commencement on in full blast. Very hot today. T.P.H., Sarah, and I went out to Yale Field to see the Reunion Parade and the ball game between Harvard and Yale. The commencement parade was as colorful as ever with the younger classes all in costume. The ball game went to Harvard 10 to 6. It should have been Yale's but the infield blew up and made six errors, handing the game to Harvard. Capt. Jones of Yale playing third base was the worst offender. Both teams travel to Boston to play for Harvard's commencement. We hope for better luck. The sun was terrific at the field but a breeze sprung up and saved our lives. Richmond Curtiss came today to help me with the work around the house. I am mighty glad to have him around.
