Saturday, June 25, 1927 Beautiful day. Closed the store at one o'clock. At lunch in town. T.P.H. called for me at three o'clock and we drove out to Harry Brown's farm in Southbury for a picnic with a group of Rotarians and their wives. We had nice party.
