Tuesday, March 22, 1927 This is Doris birthday. She would have been twenty-five years old today had she remained here with us. Never the less, she is twenty-five years old today. So surely is she here in our hearts. Her mother, as always, took her floral tribute to the cemetery this afternoon. I drove up to Meriden this noon to speak at the luncheon of the Meriden Rotary Club. It was sewed at the Y.M.C.A. As the guests of Mr. Lee of the Shubert Theatre, T.P.H., Harley, Alice, and I attended the moving picture "Beau Gest". It was just splendid.
