Thursday, March 31, 1927 Drove down home from Springfield. Brought Mr. Wheeler down with me. Came out home to dinner then went back in town to the Annual Meeting of the Chamber of Commerce. President Tracy presided. The committee appointed by the exhibitors of the recent Progress Exposition presented to President Tracy. Chairman Whitehead and the other thirteen chairmen of committees. Engrossed resolutions attesting to the esteem and appreciation of all to these gentlemen who made the exposition possible. There was also presented to the chamber itself a framed engrossed set of testimonials of appreciation. Lew Snow was elected president for the new year.
