Bright and clear day but still cool. We still have our furnace going. Will have to order more coal tomorrow. Went to church and church school at Calvary. Mr. Camp received fifty members into the church this morning, about forty of them from the church school. Violette, Clayton, Ruth, and Lota Curtiss at the house to dinner. We enjoyed having them so much. Sarah had to go back to New York tonight. She is arranging to sublet her apartment.
The Spanish Fleet was destroyed in Manilla Bay May 1st, 1898.
