Luncheon with Charles T. Lincoln at Roger Sherman Restaurant on College Street. We met to talk over program for our church school for next year. Big parade of Knight's Templar in New Haven today. The City of New Haven is cutting down the big sycamore tree at the corner of Elm and College St. History tells us that this tree is at least 227 years old. It is being cut down to widen the street. It is the oldest tree in the city.
