We are still keeping our furnace going as the nights and mornings are very cool. High wind today all day. Building wreckers are tearing down the stores on Chapel Street recent occupied by Lambert Co, the Haberdashers, the Apothecaries Hall (drug store), Laubers Cigar Store, and a millinery shop and the store on Church Street formerly occupied by Longley Co., Men's Clothers. These buildings are being taken down to make room for a new six story building to be build around the building on the corner and to face on both Chapel Street and Church Street and will be occupied when finished by Woolworth's 5 and 10¢ store. Home tonight with T.P.H. and Sarah.
