Drove up to the Springfield store today. Took Sally with me. We went by the way of the "College Highway". It was a beautiful trip. The apple blossoms were just breaking out in all their glory and flowering shrubs were all in full bloom. We had lunch at Hotel Kimball. Sarah spent the afternoon with Muriel Newell going with her to McDuffys School to present to the girls her plan for the Summer at the White Mountains. We drove home via Hartford and I went right out to the Edgewood Club for rehearsal of our minstrel show. T.P.H. and Sarah went to Woolsey Hall to hear the Ponselle Sisters sing.
