Thursday, May 26, 1927 The sun shone for awhile this morning. The first time for many days. Did not stay long. Soon gave way to thunder showers. Everything is afloat. Went down to Wilcox's Pier Restaurant, Savin Rock to lunch. First time this year. Took two customers from Tarrington with me. Mr. T.J. Smith and Mr. Newport. Met at Don North's house tonight. He is our newly elected president of Rotary and a group helped him select chairmen for his committees. Mrs. North served us a fine spread afterwards.
