Went up to the Springfield store to. Went and came home by train. Rode up to Meriden with Harley, then took the train from there to Springfield. Had a narrow escape there. A big limb fell from a tree just after I had passed under it. As some has said, "If you are born to be hung, you won't die any other way". Had Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon G. Stirling here tonight for dinner. We were so glad to have them as we have a real affection for "Don" and "Floss".
