A beautiful day after so much rain and so cold a night as last night. The thermometer was at 40° at seven this morning. Had frosts in some sections. Worked till three o'clock then came home and worked all afternoon in the garden, changing shrubs around. Captain Charles. A. Lindbergh flew from Paris to Brissells today. Was received with open arms there as he was in Paris. New York planning a great celebration when he arrives home next month. Grant Noble, who came up from New York to see his brothers Larry and Nat, spent the evening here with Sarah.
