Monday, November 7, 1927 Spoke for the Community Chest this noon at the Majestic Laundry, corner of Ashman and Lock Streets. T.P.H. and I went to the Shubert to see the "Circus Princess", a mighty fine show. Flooded conditions obtained still in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Hartford and Middletown and valley towns badly flooded. Vermont towns hard at work on rescue work. Many lives were lost and many towns yet isolated.
