Tuesday, November 8, 1927 City election in New Haven today. Mayor John B. Tower and all republican city officers were returned to office. Board of Alderman to have 17 republicans, 16 democrats. T.P.H., Violette, Mrs. Frank G. Smith, and I went to Yale University Theatre to see Sarah play her first play in New Haven. The play was "The Singing Minute" and played by members of the first year class. It was a good play and beautifully done. We thought Sally was just wonderful.
