I dug up most of the dahlias this afternoon (I hate that job) and put them in the cellar. The whole sporting world is talking of the Yale game yesterday. It was a corker. Other games were Harvard 18 Brown 6 Army 18 Notre Dame 0 Dartmouth 53 Cornell 7 Penn 27 Columbia 0 Georgetown 47 Boston College 0 Michigan 27 Navy 12 The Yale captain - Bill Webster. Princeton captain - Moeser. Helen Beckley Lambert's baby daughter born this morning at 5-30. They have named her Joan.
