At Springfield for Muriel Newell's wedding. Had breakfast with the Hitchcock's then I went down to the Springfield store and worked till two o'clock when we went back to the Hitchcock's to dress. The wedding was at four o'clock at Faith Church and it was very beautiful. Muriel looked like a little old fashioned doll, all in pink. The bridesmaids were lovely too, especially Sally. She was in rose color too and looked lovely. There was a large reception at the house and a colation served. The whole affair went off without a hitch anywhere. T.P.H., Sarah, and I drove back down home tonight making the run in one hour and fifty minutes.
