Saturday, November 26, 1927 A beautiful day today, which is unusual as it is the day that the Army and Navy football game takes place in New York and it most always rains on the day of the game. The Army won today 14 to 9. The Army was favored to win by a much heavier score. Worked all day till five o'clock. T.P.H. and I drove down to West Haven to Dick Russell's Bakery to get some pies for tomorrow. We are to have our turkey tomorrow and have asked the Curtisses to eat with us.
