Monday, October 3, 1927 Arrived in Chicago at 8 o'clock Central Time. Went right to the Congress Hotel, where I had a reservation. They assigned me a comfortable room. Meeting of the National Wall Paper Wholesalers Ass'n. called to order by President Justin P. Allmann of Philadelphia. Many men from all parts of the country here but I am the only member from New England. Many matters of interest to our industry were taken up at both morning and afternoon sessions. We held our annual dinner at the Congress Hotel, a fine meal. No speaches arranged for but the committee had a arranged a program of dance and song numbers that were most entertaining.
