Tuesday, October 4, 1927 In Chicago attending annual meeting of National Wall Paper Wholesalers Association. Meetings again held at Congress Hotel both morning and afternoon. Election of officers this afternoon. All officers and board members were reelected. I submitted resolutions on their reelections, checked out of hotel in time to catch the 5-30 P.M. train out of the La Salle Street Station over the New York Central lines. Read in the club car until later as I never sleep very well on the train. A beautiful day, cool and clear.
