Friday, October 7, 1927 Hotel Aspinwall, Lenox, Mass. Another beautiful morning. Breakfast meeting this morning in charge of Wallingford Club. I took a long walk through the hills with Betty Morse while T.P.H. attended a session with the hair dresser. Luncheon meeting in charge of Waterbury Club. Drive this afternoon through the Berkshire Hills. We rode in Will McLeaus car with the Lanes. Went up as far as Williamstown and returned. The scenery and foliage was wonderful. Several more rotarians came up from New Haven just for the day. Dinner tonight in charge of Bridgeport Club, Al Lavery toastmaster. He was in rare form. The speaker was Dr. Harry S. Fish of Sayre, Penn. The third game of the World Series played in New York. New York won for the third time.
