At Hotel Aspinwall, Lenox, Mass. Meetings of the conclave ended this morning with a breakfast in charge of New Britain and Middletown Clubs. Speaker Rev. William H. Alderson of New Britain. It was a great address. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Brewer took T.P.H. and I on a drive through Lenox, Lee, and Stockbridge pointing out to us many estates of wealthy New York people. They are very spacious and grand. The country here is so beautiful. T.P.H. and I are going to stay till Monday as a short vacation as we have had none so far this year. Arthur Morse and I drove up to Pittsfield this afternoon to get the news of the fourth World Series game. New York won again, taking the series in four straight games. Danced in the ball room.
