Tuesday, October 18, 1927 Rained till noon then ceased. Mrs. Watts and Alfred Grant went on their journey to Summit, N.J., leaving here about ten o'clock. This is the tenth birthday of the New Haven Rotary Club. We had special features and special lunch furnished by the Hotel Taft. The present president and all past presidents sat at the head table and each one had a speach to make. The Wallingford Club sent a large basket of flowers and the Milford Club a huge birthday cake.
