Thursday, October 27, 1927 Came off warm again today and if the frost of last night hadn't just happened, our flowers may of continued for some days to come. Drove to Springfield store today and a beautiful day it has been. Went up over the College Highway, which has just been reopened after extensive repairs. Drove back home tonight by the way of Hartford. Went in town to the United Church House to work on assigning boys to homes for the Older Boys Conference.
