Thursday, September 8, 1927 T.P.H. and Sarah drove down from Camp Arden, Brattleboro, Vermont today. Brought Muriel Newell as far as Springfield and Loree Corey on to New Haven. They hurried all possible so as to attend Sheldon Sturling and Dorothy Hill's wedding, which we did at the West Haven Congo Church. Saw Harry and Jennie Beebe also Elizabeth. We later went down to the bride's house to see their presents. They had many fine and usual gifts. We came in town and had supper at Hasselbachs on Chapel Street.
