Saturday, September 10, 1927 Another fine day. Closed the store at noon (1 o'clock). Sally called for me with the Packard. Had lunch at home. Then T.P.H., Sally, and I went out to the Westville Congregational Church to the wedding of Dorothy Lane, daughter of our friends, Lehman and Elizabeth Lane. We then drove around looking at some of the new houses in Westville. Came home to supper and had an evening at home. Us three and no more.
