Raining this morning again after a week of good weather. Our church school started today after the Summer vacation. Mr. Camp was back too for his first Sunday. We had a good attendance at both meetings. The New Haven celebrated their 111th anniversary today by attending divine service at Calvary Baptist Church and decorating the graves of our deceased comrades in both the Grove Street and Evergreen Cemeteries. We had a fine service at Calvary. The church provided a special calendar for the occasion and Mr. Camp preached a fine sermon from text John 10-16 - "and other sheep I have, which are not of this fold; them also I must bring and they shall hear my voice and they shall become one flock and our shepherd". The rain stopped and the sun came out before starting on the afternoon parade.
