Tuesday, September 20, 1927 A beautiful morning after the rain of last night. Mr. Scrivveu is here today with the Thomas Strahan line of Wall Papers. We did not finish looking at them till seven o'clock tonight. Rotary lunch this noon at the Taft. Then we all went down to the station and took a special train out to the Cedar Hill "Hump" Yard and made a tour of the whole works. It is a very wonderful plant. Nothing just like it in this country. Received a letter this morning from Richmond Curtiss. He has gone back to the University of Vermont at Burlington, Vermont for his junior year.
