Saturday, September 24, 1927 Although we closed the store for the last time at noon today, Mr. Chamberlain and I worked all the afternoon selecting Wall papers for our thirty inch stand. Lew Steele of the York Card and Paper Co. was here and we had lunch together at the Hotel Taft. Sarah called for me at six and we had dinner at home then we all went back in town. T.P.H. and Sally to the Shubert Theatre to see "Bonita" while I first went to Calvary Church to get things ready for tomorrow "Rally Sunday", then went over to the office and worked till time to go down and call for them. We set our clocks back one hour tonight when we all go back on Standard Time. "Daylight Saving Time" ends tonight at midnight.
