Thursday, April 5, 1928 Very warm again today. Thermometer up to 65°. People about without coats on yesterday and today. Really the first balmy days of the year. Busy at the office after being away for two days in the Massachusetts territory. Doctor Baldwin here again today to see Sarah. Her throat is still bad. Chauncey Depew of New York died today of pneumonia. He would have been 94 years old April 23. He was of the Yale class of 1856. Only two class mates survive him. We are having our York Street building painted cream color and green. It looks much better.
