Thursday, April 12, 1928 Cold and lowery. Changed over mortgage on the York Street property today. Representatives from the Travelers Insurance Company of Hartford came down with the papers. The mortgage is now $150,000.00. Went out to Christ Church, West Haven to the funeral of Captain Raymond B. Barnes. He was our captain who took the Grays (then Co F. 102nd Infantry) to France in 1917 as a part of the 26th Division A.E.F. He died quite suddenly of appendicitis. The Active Company furnished the firing squad and bugler. [Prev](1928_04_11.md) - [Next](1928_04_13.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1mzOBKTomc5rEUeWw1lN8vYlGl8NzGJ4e">
