Wednesday, April 18, 1928 This is our 29th wedding anniversary and a lovely day as it was 29 years ago. Sarah will be busy all day and all evening so my bride and I planned to celebrate alone, which we did by having dinner at the Roger Sherman Restaurant on College Street and then going down to the Olympia Theatre. Violette and Ruth gave us two teaspoons of our silver pattern and Harley and Alice gave us six blue glass tumblers, which we appreciated very much indeed. The years are so rapidly passing.
