At Waterbury, Connecticut at the Hotel Elton. Breakfast round table at eight o'clock. Subject "Friendship". A good many spoke to the subject. Morning session held at Temple Hall. Reports of round table conferences and nominations for District Governor. James Gunn of Turners Falls Club was the only nominee so he was elected by acclamation. The luncheon at noon was the last meeting. I made the presentation to Allen Bagg in behalf of the district of the usual gift. This year a watch. He was much pleased with it. I came back home with Sanford Price in his Hudson. Did not come home to dinner but met T.P.H. later and went to the Yale Theatre and saw their "Color Show". It was most interesting and instructive.
