Still cold and rainy. Poured hard all the afternoon. Had lunch at the Quinnipiac Club. Had dinner in town then attended the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Quinnipiac Club. Was again appointed on the entertainment committee. This was also Foot Guard Day Commemorating the marching of the Second Company of Governor Foot Guards to Boston in 1775 to the relief of the patriots at Concord and Lexington. I did not turn out with them. The first time that I have missed it in many years.
