Directs Easter Pageant Sarah Vernon Hodges Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. the Young People's Fellowship of St. Paul's Church, Chapel and Olive Streets, will present an Easter mystery "He Liveth" by Miriam Denten Cooper. This will be given in the church chancel after the manner of the Tropes of the Medieval church in the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries the Bible stories were enacted by the monks during the service, assisted by the choir. The scene of this pageant is laid at the entrance of the Garden of Joseph of Armathea on Resurrection morning. Mary, the mother of Jesus, the Magdalene and the other Mary meet Peter and John at the tomb. The little daughter of Jairus, the son of Joseph of Arimathea and the son of the centurion of the crucifixion come also to the garden. Together those people experience the great miracle of the resurrection for the first time. The mystery has been directed by Sarah Vernon Hodges, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hodges, who is now studying in the department of drama at Yale university. For the first two years Miss Hodges has worked with Richard Boleslavsky's group at the American Laboratory theatre in New York. Mr. Raymond Clarke, St. Paul's organist and choirmaster, is directing the music. The following people are taking part in the mystery: Evelyn Norgren, Catharine Jones, Margaret Maher, Cornelia Hubbard, Florence Halfinger, Edward Knight, Eugene Treiber, Nicholas Martin, Howard Reisfelder, Jeanette Gessner.
