Wednesday, August 1, 1928 In New York at Wall Paper Convention. Looked at Standard line this morning. Charles Slocomb showed us and looked at York Card and Haffelfinger this afternoon. Also ordered our covers from Walcutt. Had lunch with Mr. Slocum and dinner tonight with Lou Steele. Harley went home on the six o'clock train. Chamberlain and I went to the movies. Sarah is twenty four years old today. She is at Camp Arden, Brattleboro, Vermont. T.P.H. and Alice Drew Lockwood went up there to spend it with her. Hard shower here today but cleared off tonight much warmer since but not so very bad.
