Thursday, August 2, 1928 Very hot today. Much humidity. Looked at York Wall this morning. Bob Beale in bad shape physically so Mr. Maxell showed the line. Mr. Beale present however. Looked at Hobbs line this afternoon. Mr. Hanbury here this year in much better health. Also called on the Standard Textile Products Co. and Columbus Union Oil Cloth Co. Had dinner with Mr. Hanbury at Alice Foote McDougall's place. Then went to see the "Show Boat". Mighty good show.
