Still cloudy. Captain Frederick W. Halloway of the Active Company New Haven Grays + I drove down to the Indian Point House, Stoney Creek, Conn for luncheon with Paul S. Thompson and the members of Co. A 27th Conn. Volunteers, the Civil War Company of the Grays. There were but two of these old veterans able to attend. There six living but four of them are too feeble or not well enough to attend. Rather pitiful only two out of a whole Infantry Company. Mr. Dardell and Mr. Bradley were to two in attendance. They were much pleased to have us come down and eat with them. Home tonight for dinner and worked in the garden till pitch dark.
