Saturday, August 11, 1928 Muggy this morning. Rain most of the evening. Closed at one o'clock. T.P.H. came in for me and we drove over to New London to see the Chandlers. Bob was up at Hartford with Midge and Ruth was down swimming but came home late. She is a beautiful child. Had a nice visit with Nellie. Talked over the wedding of next Saturday when Bob and Midge are married. They are to be married at the Chandler's house in New London, their future home. Drove home after supper.
