Monday, August 13, 1928 Beautiful day. Clear and cool. So good to have things dry out. In to the store early. Worked all day on our Wall Paper selections. Number one book (old 1-2 book) all selected. Quinnipiack Club to lunch. Board of Governors meeting followed. Home to dinner tonight. Mowed grass on Meadowbrook Road terrace for the first time. Then mowed down weeds in the garden.
