Saturday, August 18, 1928 Not so hot today. Closed at one o'clock. Came out home to dinner then took the trolly car down to Savin Rock to the baseball game. New Haven played Providence. Both teams in the Eastern League. Although it was a double header, I did not get down in time but to see the last game. New Haven won the game I did not see 6 to 0 and lost the game I did see 5 to 1. It was not much of a game to watch as neither team had much pep. Came home on the trolly car. Spent the evening at home.
