Monday, August 27, 1928 Nellie and Ruth still with us and glad we are to have them. Rainy and muggy and sticky again today. T.P.H., Nellie, and Sarah came in at store closing time and we went down to Hasselbacks and had some light refreshments. Then went to the Olympia Theatre to see "Lilac Time", a fine picture. The Poli Theatre interest today turned over to the Fox people their entire theatre holdings involving an amount of about thirty million dollars. We came home and had dinner at home.
