Monday, December 24, 1928 Another beautiful day, warm as a early fall day. The last minute shoppers were out in full force and the streets and stores were crowded all day long and up till seven o'clock tonight when the closed. T.P.H. and I went down to St. Paul's Church to see the Christmas Pageant. Sarah was asked to put the finishing touches to it. It was a beautiful service. We came home and placed our gifts around the tree then played Carols on the Phonograph till midnight then opened our many gifts from each other and many friends while we were enjoying this fun. We heard voices outside singing carols and on going out we found a group of young people from Calvary Church who had come to serenade us. It was so thoughtful and lovely. A happy happy evening.
