Saturday, December 29, 1928 A beautiful day again, clear and mild. We are finishing inventory at the store today. Started last Wednesday morning. We worked till five o'clock then I went down to the church to the Primary Department Party. 125 mothers and children there. T.P.H. called for me and we went out to Westville and took a Christmas package to Betsy Beers. Arthur and Ruby were there taking stock of her mother's things (she has just died). Came home to dinner and for the evening. Sarah called on long distance telephone tonight. She is spending the weekend with the Davises at Plainfield, N.J.
