Rained hard all last night and all day today. Really glad that it is rain rather than snow. One does not have to shovel rain. T.P.H. called for Sarah and I at the store at six and we all came out home to dinner. I drove back in town afterwards, took Sally to the Yale Drama School and I attended a meeting of the proposed Board of Education of the Week Day Schools of Religious Education that we hope to start in New Haven next Fall. The fog tonight was intense. We had to just crawl along with two wheels in the street car track. Very warm and muggy.
