Thursday, February 16, 1928 Went up to Springfield store today on the train. Luncheon at Hotel Kimball. Went over to Westfield with Mr. Shaffer. Called on the Bryan Hardware Co. Talked to them on the Wall Paper question. Dinner tonight and spent the night at the Hotel Kimball. Wrote some letters and worked on my speach for tomorrow night at the Whitneyville Congo Church. There is not a bit of snow on the ground all through this region, a most unusual Winter condition.
