Sunday, February 19, 1928 Snow still white and clean. Air sharp and lovely. Went in to Calvary to church and church school. T.P.H. and Sarah went in to St. Paul's Church. Mr. Weir, their new rector, preached. Sally and I shoveled the snow of the walk in front of the new lot on Meadowbrook Road. Then we went up and shoveled Mrs. S.B. Warren's walk just above us on Ridgewood Ave. Good old Steve (Mr. Warren) is in bad shape. Can not live but a short time.
